As you enter the Coopérative Artisanale, you will see to your left, the gift shop, and to your right, the Restaurant Acadien. The gift shop displays an abundance of hooked rugs of all shades and designs, sure to please the most discriminate shopper. Smaller pieces such as doilies, hangings and coasters will complete your search for souvenirs or gifts for friends and family.
The gift shop also provides an ample supply of other gift ideas: china, carvings, pins, dolls, sweatshirts, t-shirts, crafts, etc. As you wander through the shop, the helpful staff will be more than happy to help you choose just the right gift or souvenir. If you so wish, you can experience first-hand the art of hooking, as there is always a piece of printed burlap laid out on a frame. Someone will gladly show you how it is done and let you try for yourself. |
